Porchfire was a band that I joined after jamming with the guys at the show pictured above. We played the N.C. Museum of Art for the Guiness Book of World Records attempt to break the world's largest painting record. The attempt succeeded and Eric Baugh raised lots of cash for charity. As an afterthought, I called Holly and asked her to bring the cassette recorder and once she arrived, I asked the sound guys if it would be ok to get a recording from the sound board. They said "Sure" and we recorded the show onto 2-track cassette straight out of the soundboard. Although the mix is not exactly the best, the vibe is there and you can tell we were all having fun... well maybe everyone but John. I remember that he was a bit nervous.
